I know it's been difficult, and you've been hurt, let down and disappointed but you must let them go because it will only hinder you from what God has for you.

You have to trust in the Lord with all your heart and with all your soul, and through him all things are possible.

Amethyst represents the month of February

Diamond represents the month of April

It removes certain types of deviations in the aura, which can be best imagined as sort of voids, and diamond fills them with the pure energy of love. It inspires creativity, ingenuity, inventivity, faith, endurance, and helps in manifesting abundance in all areas of life.

What Kind of Shoe Fits You?
"The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way." ~ Psalm 37:23

I remember when I was a young girl and my dad would always get on us about keeping shoes on our feet.  He said it was good that we did this to alleviate foot problems down the road.  I loved walking bare foot....but as dad would have it he would tell us that we should take care of the feet and the feet would take of you.

Also you notice that having the right pair of shoes can make all the difference in the world.  You ladies know that if you wear a nice fitting shoe regardless what type it is  - you have comfort all day but let it be the opposite of that and its not a good fit, or its those favorite pair of shoes but they hurt your feet a little and by the end of the day they become killer shoes!....lol.

Well, as it turns out that Dad was right aoubt shoes.  Our whole appearance can be spoiled by our shoes.  If you had on a $300 dollar suit and had on a pair of dirty or scuffed shoes, your appearance would not be fitting.  It wouldn't matter how much you paid for your suit, people's eyes would automatically be drawn to your feet.  It makes a difference that they are neat and well kept.

Shoes are important because our feet are important.  Our feet take us places and where we put our feet determines what direction we'll go in.  what we wear on our "spiritual" feet is important too.  How we walk and how our steps are ordered will have an impact on us and those around us.  Sometimes we need to be a little more selective on what shoes we find ourselves wearing.

What Kind of Shoe Fits You?

1.  Flats.  Do you find yourself flat in your Christian life?  Do you need to get yourself motivated?  It's so eay to find ourselves lie that, just moving along without much life to us.  Sometimes we need to just get ourselves energize and get excited about living the Christian Life.

"Restore unto me the joy of thhy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit." ~ Psalm 51:12

2.  Loafers.  Do you find yourself not doing anything for Christ?  Are you using your talents for His glory.  Perhaps you've never gotten involved or you've been burned out and just haven't participatted in things like you used to.  Is there something you can  to use your gifts and talents for the Lord?  Teaching a Sunday school class, Preparinggemals for the sick , or just mentoring another women?  we all have to be active in order for the body of Christ to work effectively.

"For as the boy is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one boy, being many, are one body; so also is Christ." ~ 1 Corinthinians 12:12

"But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only....." ~ James 1:22

3.  Pumps.  Do you find yourself pumping people up?  Are you an encourager?  What a great pair of shoes to wear.  We all have times when we need encouragement so think how important it is to give it as well as receive it.

"Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do." ~ 1 thessalonians 5:11

4.  Tennis Shoes.  Do you find yourself running from your problems?  Sometimes some of us want to do this. We hope if we just don't think about our problems, they'll just go away.  If we'd just lean on god strength a little more, we'd be able to better handle things that comes into our lives.

"Trust in the LORD with all thin heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  In all thy ways acknoweldge him, and he shall direct thy paths. ~ Proverbs 3:5, 6

5.  Boots.  Do you find yourself walking all over people and only doing things your way?  It's sometimes so easy for some of us to do.  We forget to be sensitive to others.  I think if we'd be a little more loving and tenderhearted we'd tend to stop "walking" this way.

"And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. ~ Ephesians 4:32

6.  Waders.  Do you find yourself just floating by? Are you accomplishing anything for Christ?  It's so easy to get complacent about things.  We get in a rut in our Christain lives and find ourselves just doing the minimum.  Our prayer life and Bible reading becomes slim.  Our church attendance becomes inconsistent.  We just barely float by in our relationship with the Lord.

"And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as unto the Lord, and not unto men." ~ Colossians 3:23

7.  Slip Ons.  Do you find yourself slipping on Christianity just for church and hanging it up till the next time?  Do people really know you're a Christain?  If we aren't living for Christ throughout the week, how can we ever have the witness God intended us to have?

8.  Sandals.  Do you find yourself too comfortable with your Christian life?  Could you be doing more for CChist?  Smetimes it's eay to get comfortable with what we're doing and not really do all that we have the potential and ability to do.  We ought to take hold of life and live it the way God  intended.  We ought not be satisfied with being a mediocre Christian but remember Who we are living for.

"Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the reace that is set before us.  Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set  down at the right hand of the throne of God." ~ Hebrews 12:1, 2

9.  Slippers.  Do you find yourself causing others to slip and stumble? Are you aware of the your actions?  Although we are given Christian liberties, we can't just live life like we want.  We have to be aware that yothers are watching us and we need to set a good example.

"Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block or an occasion to fall in his brother's way." ~ romans 14:13

10.  Work Shoes.  Do you find yourself working and doing all you can do for God's glory?  It all boils down to serving Christ and following Him.  If we are following Him and obeying His Word we will bear much fruit for Him.

"Then said Jesus unto his disciples, if any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me." ~ Matthew 16:24

Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit: so shall ye be my disciples. ~ John 15:8

Summary:

I know I don't alwys put on the right pair of shoes but I sure do hope I can improve at wearing the type of shoes that are  well fitting of a Christian woman.  The kind of style that enhances my walk with the Lord.  If not, I know it will affect my whole appearance as a Christian.

Remebering Martin Luther King, Jr. - A Tribute - I Have A Dream Speech

I am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation.
Five score years ago, a great American, in whose symbolic shadow we stand, signed the Emancipation Proclamation. This momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of Negro slaves, who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice. It came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of captivity. But one hundred years later, we must face the tragic fact that the Negro is still not free. One hundred years later, the life of the Negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination.
One hundred years later, the Negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity. One hundred years later, the Negro is still languishing in the corners of American society and finds himself an exile in his own land. So we have come here today to dramatize an appalling condition.
In a sense we have come to our nation’s Capital to cash a check. When the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every American was to fall heir.
This note was a promise that all men would be guaranteed the inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
It is obvious today that America has defaulted on this promissory note insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. Instead of honoring this sacred obligation, America has given the Negro a bad check, a check which has come back marked "insufficient funds."
But we refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt. We refuse to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of opportunity of this nation. So we have come to cash this check, a check that will give us upon demand the riches of freedom and the security of justice.
We have also come to this hallowed spot to remind America of the fierce urgency of Now. This is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism.
Now is the time to make real the promises of democracy.
Now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice.
Now is the time to open the doors of opportunity to all God’s children.
Now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood.
It would be fatal for the nation to overlook the urgency of the moment and to underestimate the determination of the Negro. This sweltering summer of the Negro’s legitimate discontent will not pass until there is an invigorating autumn of freedom and equality. Nineteen sixty-three is not an end but a beginning. Those who hope that the Negro needed to blow off steam and will now be content will have a rude awakening if the nation returns to business as usual.
There will be neither rest nor tranquility in America until the Negro is granted his citizenship rights. The whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake the foundations of our nation until the bright day of justice emerges.
But there is something that I must say to my people who stand on the warm threshold which leads into the palace of justice. In the process of gaining our rightful place, we must not be guilty of wrong deeds. Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred. We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline. We must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence. Again and again we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soul force. The marvelous new militancy which has engulfed the Negro community must not lead us to a distrust of all white people, for many of our white brothers, as evidenced by their presence here today, have come to realize that their destiny is tied up with our destiny and their freedom is inextricably bound to our freedom. We cannot walk alone.
And as we walk, we must make the pledge that we shall march ahead. We cannot turn back. There are those who are asking the devotees of civil rights, "When will you be satisfied?" We can never be satisfied as long as the Negro is the victim of the unspeakable horrors of police brutality. We can never be satisfied as long as our bodies, heavy with the fatigue of travel, cannot gain lodging in the motels of the highways and the hotels of the cities.
We cannot be satisfied as long as the Negro’s basic mobility is from a smaller ghetto to a larger one.
We cannot be satisfied as long as a Negro in Mississippi cannot vote, and a Negro in New York believes he has nothing for which to vote.
No, no we are not satisfied and we will not be satisfied until justice rolls down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream.
I am not unmindful that some of you have come here out of great trials and tribulations. Some of you have come fresh from narrow jail cells. Some of you have come from areas where your quest for freedom left you battered by storms of persecutions and staggered by the winds of police brutality. You have been the veterans of creative suffering. Continue to work with the faith that unearned suffering is redemptive.
Go back to Mississippi, go back to Alabama, go back to South Carolina, go back to Georgia, go back to Louisiana, go back to the slums and ghettos of our modern cities, knowing that somehow this situation can and will be changed.
Let us not wallow in the valley of despair. I say to you today, my friends, that in spite of the difficulties and frustrations of the moment, I still have a dream.
It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream.
I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed. "We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal."
I have a dream that one day out on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slaveowners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.
I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a desert state sweltering with the heat and injustice of oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.
I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.

This will be the day when all of God’s children will be able to sing with new meaning "My country ’tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing. Land where my fathers died, land of the Pilgrim’s pride, from every mountainside, let freedom ring!"
And if America is to be a great nation, this must become true. So let freedom ring from the prodigious hilltops of New Hampshire. Let freedom ring from the mighty mountains of New York.
Let freedom ring from the heightening Alleghenies of Pennsylvania.
Let freedom ring from the snow-capped Rockies of Colorado.
Let freedom ring from the curvaceous peaks of California.
But not only that, let freedom, ring from Stone Mountain of Georgia.
Let freedom ring from Lookout Mountain of Tennessee.
Let freedom ring from every hill and molehill of Mississippi. From every mountainside, let freedom ring.
When we let freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God’s children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual, "Free at last, free at last. Dont Ever Give Up!

Don't you dare give up, our lives our way to short to give up going or maintaining anything in them in which we know that our hearts are truly in! When we give up we are telling ourselves that we aren't good enough receive our victories and our blessings. We are telling ourselves that all of the hard work and all of the pain that we endured so far doesn't mean a thing, and was all done in vain.

Yes, life is tough, and life will continue to be that way. You must keep in your thoughts that you are tougher than the circumstances that life throws at you, and that even though things may be looking down, if you continue to fight through and push not only will things look up for you, life will look spectacular to you. Believe in yourself and in God knowing that he will never put more on you than you can bear.

To Love What You Do

Your work is going to fill a large part of your life. And the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do.  Being satisfied and being fulfilled with ones life's work is a very sensitive subject for many especially since it causes many a sense of grief and regret for not pursuing their life's work as they should. This is a message to all, ranging from those who still have no clue to what they want to do in life, to those who know exactly what they want out of life, but have yet to pursue it.

Your work is going to or should pursue a large part in your life, and in order to be satisfied in life the work that you do must be a great representation of you, your work must not only be great, but it must also inspire others to be great. Never settle for a job, instead look for your "life's work" look for what will bless you and others at the same time, you will know when you find it.

Finding Love

"Find someone that isn't afraid to admit they miss you. Someone that knows you're not perfect but treats you as if you are. Someone who couldn't imagine losing you. Someone who gives their heart to you completely. Someone who says I love you and proves it. Last but not least, find someone who wouldn't mind waking up to you in the morning, seeing your wrinkles and grey hair but still falls in love with you all over again..."

You Can Always Come Back Home

You can always come back home. For Given #ajewel!
  Oh, Don't act like you always been good...you know we have not always been in church right? Daddy (Abba - Father) said it's not too late to come back home.  I don't care where you have been, or what you did, or what you said. I don't care how bad it seems or looks like.  You may be down in the dumps but you are never so far where the Love of God can not reach you. Let the church say...Amen.

Things Change and Friends Leave

Things change. And friends leave. And life doesn't stop for anybody.
The crazy thing about life is that though we make plans of the future, even plans that may sometimes include people in our lives in which we may really care about at the moment; there are many things in our lives that we simply cannot plan for. One important fact of life is that no matter what we do, sometimes things just change. Sometimes the people that we once cared so much for will become the people that we can no longer be around, and sometimes the friends that we think will be in our lives forever somehow leave out of our lives before we can ever get a good chance to say goodbye.

We must all remember that life isn't going to stop just because our plans may fall through, and just because we are heartbroken over someone leaving out of our lives. We must be able to pick up the pieces that our life shatters into sometimes, do our best to hold things together, and continue working hard towards the goals and dreams that we have set in our minds and hearts. Even though things change, and even though friends leave, we have to realize that life doesn't stop for anybody, and to never stop moving forward.

Stop Worrying and Start Living

We are always getting ready to live, but never living. Get living.
In order to "get living" we must make the choice to stop making excuses, to stop worrying about the resources that we don't have, to stop worrying about the things that may hold us back including what we lack, and to start the journey that we desire to complete. Not everything will always be in the order in which we want before we go for our dreams, and the sooner we start is usually the sooner that we will get to a goal or a dream in which we believe in.

Committing to living instead of "getting ready to live" is an important value in life that we all must develop in order to become successful. Not everything will always be perfect, and life will always present challenges to you that you must overcome in order to feel as though you are successful. What are you waiting on to start? Embark on your journey now, and get living!

Life is Like A Book

Our life is one open book full of pages. We laugh, we cry, we smile, we stumble, we stand, we fall, and we succeed. Every chapter defines who we really are.
If we think long and hard about it, our life is very similar to a book. As each page progresses, so does time, and as each page progresses we live through different emotions, actions, and situations. As we pass through every day of our lives we go up and we go down, we smile, we laugh, we cry, we fail, we are victorious, we falter, we listen, we speak, we understand, and we seek wisdom.

What will your book of life say about you overall in the end? Will someone want to read your book? Will your life be interesting? Or will it be full of pages that don't really mean much at all. In order to present our best book/life to the world we must try to build our character as much as possible, and we must remember that we are here to do great things, we are here to change the generation by either changing the world abruptly, or by inspiring the soul that will change the world abruptly.

Remember, that God can change anything that you willingly give to Him.  He can also give you the strength and courage to accept, make or adjust to change.  He is the source of wisdom and understanding and He freely gives this to His children.
